2. What we collect
We collect information you choose to send us:
- Contact inquiries: your name, email address, telephone number, and message.
- Directory listing applications: your name, business information, services, platforms, certification status, and speaker reference details.
- Affiliate applications: your name, contact and business information, and how you plan to promote.
Form submissions on this site are delivered through Formspree, a third-party form processing service that transmits your submission to our business email. We do not run analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies on this site.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry (allow up to 48 hours).
- To review, verify, and process listing and affiliate applications, including contacting the speaker reference you provide.
- To administer active listings and affiliate accounts, including renewal and payout communications.
We contact you about the thing you contacted us about. Submitting a form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
4. What we will not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We do not use application information for any purpose other than evaluating and administering your application or listing. The internet has enough list-merchants; this site is not one of them.
5. Public listings
If your listing application is approved, the business information in your listing, such as your name, business name, services, specialty description, website, and contact link, is displayed publicly in the Directory. That is the purpose of a listing. Speaker reference details are used for verification only and are never published.
6. Third-party services
- Formspree: form submissions are processed and delivered to us by Formspree. Your submission passes through Formspree's systems, and Formspree's own privacy policy governs that processing.
- Google Fonts: this site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which means your browser sends a standard request (including your IP address) to Google when a page loads. Google's own privacy policy governs that request.
- Email: messages you send us are received and stored in our business email systems.
- Payment processing: listing and program payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
7. Retention
We keep application and correspondence records as long as needed to administer listings, meet legal and tax obligations, and maintain the integrity of the verification process. Declined applications are not kept longer than necessary for record-keeping.
8. Your choices
You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, or removal of your listing, by using the contact page. We will honor requests unless we are required to retain information by law. Note that removing a listing ends the listing; fees already paid are handled per the Terms & Conditions.
9. Children
This site is a business-to-business resource for the professional speaking industry and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes affecting listed providers or affiliates will be communicated directly.
